Dr. John Lesneski was raised in Tawas, Michigan. After graduating from Tawas Area High School in 1998 he attended Michigan State University in East Lansing where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree in 2002. After graduating as a Spartan, he followed his heart to The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006. Although he is grateful for his time and education at both universities, his loyalty has always been with the Wolverines.  GO BLUE!!

His time away from Tawas helped him realize the important role his community played in developing his values and belief system. His dream was always to return to his hometown and practice dentistry in the community he loves. In 2006, that dream was fulfilled. He is grateful for the love and support he has received from Tawas and the surrounding communities and is constantly humbled by the blessing of being able to work and live in such a beautiful place with an amazing community of people.

Dr. John is an active member of the American Dental Association and Michigan Dental Association and certified in Invisalign.  He is confident in treating all facets of dentistry.  He enjoys focusing on comprehensive restorative and implant procedures.  The field of dentistry is constantly advancing, more now than ever.  Dr. John has chosen to embrace the changes, constantly learning and investing in state of the art equipment in order to provide safe and effective treatment for the community.  Dr. John believes in surrounding himself with a team who share his core values and mission; treat people with compassion, dignity, and respect.  Embrace change.  Be your best.  He truly believes he has the greatest team in the industry.  Together, they are proud to have grown Huron Coast Dental into one of the premier dental practices in the state of Michigan.

Dr. John strives to practice dentistry and live his life according to the words of Lou Holtz – “Do right. Do your best. Treat others as you want to be treated.”  A perfect day for Dr. John is simply a day with his wife Krysta and their three children. They are his greatest blessing.

Dr. Lexie Georgoff is originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. After graduating from Portage Central High School in 2011, attended Michigan State University — GO GREEN! There, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. After her senior year at MSU, she spent a semester studying abroad in Spain where she also completed a minor in Spanish. After four wonderful years as a Spartan, she moved to Detroit to follow her dreams and attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. There, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2020.

Dr. Lexie and her husband, Dr. Tanner, now live in Tawas. They first met while attending MSU and continued their friendship into Dental School where they began dating. They were then married in 2022. While they do not have any kids yet, they do have two adorable dogs — a Golden Retriever named Lulu and Frenchie named Remy. They love working in the same practice and providing optimal care as a team.

Lexie prides herself in the ability to provide beautiful results in the most comfortable and efficient ways. She strives to create a calming and pleasant environment for all of her patients. She also believes that she has a particularly keen eye for aesthetics.

Lexie feels strongly about staying up to date on the newest dental technologies and products. Lexie is an active member of the  American Academy of Facial Aesthetics. She is Invisalign Certified and confidently provides comprehensive orthodontic treatment. She is also a Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler provider and is very excited to share these treatments with the community. She believes that lifelong learning is the key to success in this ever-changing field.

When shes not working, Lexie loves to travel, explore new places and experience new cultures. She loves designing creating just about anything. She also enjoys gardening, being outdoors and staying active as well as cooking/baking and playing with her sweet dogs. Spending time with family and friends is also very important to her. She lives by the simple principle, “don’t stop until you’re proud”.

Dr. Tanner Trombley grew up in Standish, Michigan where he graduated from Standish-Sterling high school in 2011. Tanner went on to Michigan State University where he received his bachelors in Human Biology degree in 2016. Tanner went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2020. Tanner is very excited to finally be back near his hometown to care for the community and feels so blessed to be part of such an amazing team.

Tanner loves dentistry because there is nothing like the feeling of getting people out of dental pain or helping people achieve the smile they always dreamed of. Tanner likes to make you feel at home in his operatory and is usually singing to ZZ Top or the alike. Tanner loves keeping up with new technologies and techniques that advance the world of dentistry. Tanner has taken many continuing education courses in Implant dentistry and oral surgery. One of Tanner’s favorite quotes is “Wherever life plants you, bloom with compassion and grace.”

In his free time, Tanner enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, concerts, snowboarding, playing guitar/drums, and spending time with his wife Lexie and their two dogs Lulu and Remy. Tanner is Invisalign certified, Botulism toxin certified through the American Academy of facial Esthetics.

Dr. Chelsea Q. Watkins is originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Growing up with a lot of dental struggles of her own, she developed a passion for dentistry at a young age and upon graduating from high school, she was accepted into an accelerated seven-year dental program at the University of Detroit Mercy, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry in 2016 and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2020.  Dr. Chelsea quickly became friends with Dr. Lexie and Dr. Tanner during their first year of dental school, and it is truly a dream come true to start working alongside them.

Dr. Chelsea is constantly looking for ways to bring the latest and greatest research to her patients and has spent countless hours attending continuing education courses.  She has done a lot of her continuing education with the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington and has had the opportunity to work there alongside one of her mentors for the past couple of years.  She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and American Academy of Facial Esthetics.  Dr. Chelsea enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a love for complex restorative and esthetic cases.

Dr. Chelsea has a strong understanding of the oral-systemic connection and has spent time expanding that knowledge at functional and integrative medicine meetings. In addition to working as an associate dentist in her hometown of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan she has also worked for the Wellness Dentistry Network developing protocols and practices for dentists to implement wellness concepts into their offices.

When she isn’t thinking about teeth, Dr. Chelsea enjoys spending time outside, baking, running, and spending time with her four dogs.  She has spent a lot of her free time in the past couple of years training for various marathons and even a 100-mile ultra-marathon!  The loves of her life are her three French Bulldogs Paloma, Tonic, and Rifle and her Bernedoodle Cypress – who constantly keep her on her toes at home!

Dr. Chelsea’s goal is to develop exceptional relationships with her patients. She strives to make patients feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Dr. Chelsea looks forward to working with Dr. John, Dr. Lexie, Dr, Tanner, and the rest of the team at Huron Coast Dental to provide you with the most exceptional care.

Dr. Jake Flyte was born and raised in Oakland County, but spent every summer with his grandparents living in Harrisville. He fell in love with the area as a child and his goal has always been to return here.

Dr. Jake is thrilled to now call Tawas home! He attended the University of Detroit Jesuit for high school and the University of Detroit Mercy for his undergraduate studies. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Concentration in Neuroscience and a Minor in Leadership Studies. He then pursued his dental education at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where he graduated with many distinctive honors.

Because of his extensive experience with Jesuit education, Dr. Jake has developed an intrinsic desire to serve others in both his career and his personal life. He is committed to providing personalized and comprehensive care to help all patients achieve their oral health goals. Dr. Jake's passion for integrity and excellence resulted in his election to Omicron Kappa Upsilon - an esteemed dental organization committed to scholarship and the promotion of ethical standards in the dental profession.

Dr. Jake is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association. He has completed advanced training related to 3-D imaging and implant placement, and has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry. He has received awards from the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for his clinical work.

Dr. Jake and his wife, Heather, love spending time outdoors. Their favorite activities include golfing, being on the water, and hiking with their golden retriever. Dr. Jake and Heather are expecting their first child this summer, and are extremely excited to raise a family in this amazing community!
